William Spencer founded W S Performance, Inc. in 1980, after purchasing a small transportation company in his home of Springfield MA. W S Performance, Inc. niche was hauling temperature controlled produce for large chain grocery stores with two tractor-trailers.

W S Performance, Inc. companies now operate over 400 trucks and 1,100 trailers. They provide superior service to their customers from 7 terminals, offering over the road, local, and dedicated hauling as well as freight brokerage, warehousing and spotting services. W S Performance, Inc. has the best group of drivers of any trucking company in the United States. They provide superior service, communication, and professionalism to its customers.
